ENUSTECH, INC. is launching a new product, Multishare USB Jak at CES 2013. Jak allows you to share the contents in your smartphone such as photos, music, video clips, document files, etc. directly through any host devices like TV, stereo, beam projector and computer that have a USB port.
With intuitive and easy to use app. that is freely downloadable from the Google play store, the users can create playlists of music, video clips, etc from their smartphones and sync the playlist to Jak. On the host device, Jak will appear as a memory stick containing the playlist. The users then can enjoy the contents of the playlists using the controls of the host device. Since Jak lets the users to select the files to be shared while creating a playlist, privacy matter is naturally taken care of. It also lets the users to select files to be stored from the cloud, such as Dropbox. iOS version of the app is under registration process and waiting for confirmation from Apple.
Jak supports Full HD (1080p) quality video clips. Also, unlike bluetooth, it does not suffer audio quality loss while transferring music. It can be connected up to 20 smartphones, so with one Jak at the party or during any friends & family gathering, people can share their music, photos, video clips in turns.
With the rapid increase of smartphone usage, people use them to listen to music, take pictures and video clips, and to access emails. Naturally, there has been a need to share the contents in the smartphones on larger screens and speakers. Most of the existing solutions, wired or unwired, are HDMI based products that let users to share the contents on TVs or monitors only. However, Jak, being USB based, has much wider coverage of host devices--TVs, stereos, projectors, printers, computers, etc.
Leading TV manufactures are also launching smart TVs capable of displaying contents of the smartphones through DLNA streaming. Among them, LG recently announced a smart TV that has Tag On feature that lets users easily stream smartphone contents to the TV. With Jak, users can experience similar features on any TV equipped with a USB port.
